Saturday nights at Chinois Ibiza transform into something more theatrical with The Masquerade — the signature concept led by the enigmatic Claptone.

Built around anonymity, spectacle and immersive design, the night takes inspiration from the grandeur and intrigue of masked celebrations, reimagined through a modern house music lens. The result is a setting where identity fades and atmosphere takes centre stage.

Each edition is shaped as a curated experience rather than a standard club night. The space is reworked with elaborate visual production, costumed performers and layered staging that shifts the focus between music, performance and environment throughout the night.

Musically, The Masquerade is firmly rooted in house, guided by Claptone alongside a rotating lineup of internationally recognised DJs. The 2026 series brings together a broad spectrum of artists spanning deep house, classic-influenced sets and contemporary club sounds, reflecting both heritage and evolution within the genre.

This year’s programme includes appearances from 2manydjs, A-Trak, andhim, The Blessed Madonna, CASSIMM, Chus & Ceballos, Crusy, David Penn, Dimitri From Paris, Faithless (DJ set), Hannah Wants, Inner City (DJ set), Kerri Chandler, Lee Foss, Nora En Pure, Pete Tong, Paul Woolford, Solardo and Wh0, among many others.

The Masquerade runs every Saturday from mid-May through to early October, forming one of the most visually distinctive and concept-driven residencies at Chinois Ibiza.
