Thursdays at Chinois Ibiza are led by Defected — one of house music’s most established global brands, returning in 2026 with a new residency on the island.

Built entirely around a strict house music policy, the night spans the full spectrum of the genre, from foundational classics through to modern interpretations. The musical direction stays rooted in groove, soul and rhythm, creating a consistent energy that carries across the entire evening.

At the heart of Defected is its community-driven philosophy. The night is designed as an open, inclusive space where the focus is placed on connection through music rather than exclusivity or hierarchy. The dancefloor brings together a wide mix of ages, backgrounds and experiences, all unified by a shared appreciation for house music culture.

Rather than relying on a single sound or format, each week reflects a broad cross-section of the genre’s evolution. This is reinforced by a rotating roster of internationally respected DJs and live performers who represent both the legacy and future of house music.

The 2026 line-up features an extensive selection of artists, including Armand Van Helden, Carl Craig, Dennis Ferrer, Eats Everything, Eliza Rose, DJ EZ, Floorplan, Groove Armada, Hannah Wants, HoneyLuv, Kerri Chandler, Kevin Saunderson, Lil’ Louis, Low Steppa, Sam Divine, TSHA and many more, alongside emerging names and label regulars.

Defected runs every Thursday from early May through to early October, marking one of the most consistent and musically focused weekly residencies at Chinois Ibiza.
