Mondays at Ibiza Rocks Hotel open the week with Nothing New — a concept built entirely around revisiting familiar music rather than chasing current trends. Designed as a daytime poolside session, it sets a relaxed but playful tone for the start of the Ibiza Rocks week.

Rather than focusing on new releases or emerging sounds, the format deliberately pulls from past eras of music culture. Everything played is rooted in tracks from 2016 or earlier, spanning multiple genres including dance, R&B, hip-hop and indie. The result is a soundtrack that feels instantly recognisable, encouraging full crowd participation from the first hour onwards.

The atmosphere is driven by nostalgia and shared memory. Instead of discovery, the focus is on recognition — moments where entire sections of the crowd react to the same lyrics at the same time, turning the pool area into a collective singalong environment.

Nothing New runs weekly throughout the summer season, from late April through to late September, forming the opening chapter of the Ibiza Rocks weekly programme.
